1935 schneiderte Lukas Meindl, ortansässiger
Schuster aus Kirchanschörung, seine erste Lederhose.
Den Begriff Markenartikel hatte er damals noch nicht im Kopf,
aber das sichere Gespür dafür im Bauch. Meindl
entwickelte sich zu einer bekannten, internationalen Marke,
mit Charme, Charakter und einem eigenständigen Profil.

In 1935 Lukas Meindl, shoe repairer, produced his first
leather trousers (“Lederhose”). He did not
think about the brand at that time, but he felt something
already. Meindl developed itself to a famous, international
