Easystand – the ski boot innovation and revolution from the Gastein Valley
Optimum heel position – More room for the toes – No pressure on the calves – Support for the joints – Voluntarily stands in the right forward position – High level of security – Relief of pressure on the knees – Requires less effort - Significantly improved ski control.
“Skiers are first and foremost people who wear ski boots. The ski boot determines your entire performance.” This statement is a first-hand quote made by two-time World Cup winner Marcel Hirscher in December 2012.
In the last two decades, there have been hardly any innovations in the ski boot market. A new, revolutionary product is now coming from the Gastein Valley; a ground-breaking invention in the ski boot field.
Our senior partner, Franz Egger, has been occupying himself with new innovations and ideas related to ski boots and the optimal fit and transfer of power for more than 30 years. Since inventing Easystand, he has been assisted by none other than Fritz Schrempf, the former CEO of the Austrian ski and ski boot brand Atomic.
Easystand is the name of the new formula for your feet in ski boots. This actually reverses the previous position of the foot in the ski boot, i.e. the toes are positioned higher than the heel. The benefits of this can be explained logically and are clear to see:
- a precise heel position
- more room for the toes
- precise swinging movements
This, in turn, also means that pressure is noticeably relieved from the calf and thigh muscles, and, above all, the system is kinder on the knee joints.
